Thank you for visiting the Construction Look Ahead Map for Phase 1 of the Second Avenue Subway
Project.
This tool has been designed to provide you with planned construction-related information for
every block within the project corridor -from 63rd Street to 100th Street -on a quarterly basis
through 2016.The site is still a work in progress, and we have initially provided our planned construction information through mid 2013. The information will be expanded through the end of the project and updated quarterly going forward.
To use this tool, select a street on the Map tab to view detailed construction work zones. Then click on
any of the construction zone icons and a pop-up screen will appear containing information on construction
activities, location, duration of work and traffic restrictions. To find out about parking restrictions
during construction, click on the Parking tab.
This tool provides long-term information on the project. For temporary or near term
construction related information, please check the Three Week Construction Look Ahead tab, or visit
www.mta.info/capconstr/sas/construction.html . For general information on the project,
visit www.mta.info/capconstr/sas.
