Terms of Use

Your use of the New York City Transit Authority's (NYCTA's) E-Bids web pages is subject to your agreement to the following terms:

Bid documents downloaded or printed from our site are for your use only and may not be transferred to others.

You may not edit or alter in any way bid documents downloaded or printed from the E-Bids site.

Bid Amendments : NYCTA may amend bid documents after you have downloaded them. NYCT will attempt to send e-mail notifications of bid amendments to the e-mail address that you provide, and you are advised to check for such notifications. However, NYCTA cannot be responsible for any failure of such notifications to reach you. It is your responsibility to check our site for any amendments before submitting your bid .

Notices of amendments instruct you to return to the E-Bids site to download bid amendments and it is your responsibility to do so. Your failure to acknowledge all amendments when you submit your bid may render your bid non-responsive.

E-Bids Account Profile: You must provide certain information including your e-mail address and mailing address when you set up your E-Bids account. This information will be used by NYCTA to contact you in connection with bids that you download. It is your responsibility to update this information.

NYCTA does not use your E-Bids account profile information for other purposes and does not update its other data bases using this information. In particular, NYCTA will not use this information to update its bidders lists, the vendor profile data used to inform vendors of new bids, or the profile information used to mail payments. It is your responsibility to update that information using NYCTA's Vendor Information Update Site (http://enterprise.nyct.com/ or you may access that site through http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/nyct/index.html).

It is your responsibility to compare the list of bid documents provided in the Bid Quotation Sheet documents to the remainder of the bid documents that you download from the E-Bids site. You must report any discrepancies to the Procurement Specialist whose name appears on the Bid Quotation Sheet before submitting your bid.

From time to time NYCTA may determine that some bid documents are too large to download from the E-Bids site. The E-Bids Bid Package Download page will inform you of any such documents, which will be mailed to the mailing address that is part of your E-Bids Account profile. It is your responsibility to ensure that you receive such documents before you submit your bid.
